I’ve always liked climbing about in hedgerows, following their paths, these borders, these in-between places… They are my go to when I feel the itch to go forage. Right now, beautiful elderflower is in season. Foraging is something I have always done and along with being in my element, I find it deeply empowering. Using the knowledge of my grandmothers, crafting a remedy here and there, or just providing food for my table.

Beach & Wild weekend retreats 2016!

Hello wild ones!  Come and join us in July and October for one of our lovingly created Beach & Wild retreat weekends.

Choose between an escape to the stunning Penbryn beach in West Wales where our accommodation is a converted dairy farm and we will be surfing, sea kayaking, practicing Yoga, crafting, taking wild dips and meandering in the forest before relaxing in the cedar wood sauna and roasting marshmellows around the fire-pit.

Breakfast on our recent Beach and Wild weekend in glorious Cornwall was Good with a capital G, as it sat nestled between our nourishing Yoga lesson in the warmth of the eco lodge and our surf session, which meant braving the wild atlantic in October. With all this activity we made sure than everybody was fuelled up!

We’ve just returned from a magical weekend teaching Yoga to those fine folks at the End of the Road Festival at the Victorian pleasure grounds that are the Larmer Tree Gardens in Wiltshire. Gardens dedicated to the pursuit of “public enlightenment and entertainment”.
